_
Sat10th/Sunday 11th 130am we finally made it to the street, and we were a mess..it took us about an hour to disband..because we kept walking back and forth across the street talking and joking about stuff..my Nihongo is much better..so I understand so much more..and Iam able to communicate well. we decided to head back to the Apartment..Iam not exactly sure what we talked about..but we stayed up until about 3ish...man I crashed hard though..

Sunday 11th 400am..I woke up got ready and packed up my equipment (tripod, cameras, mics,) grab a bottle of Don Julio, we rolled out to the garage around 430ish, on the way we stopped at Munes house..and I met his mom..she is really nice, we met up with the Stylistics..and stopped off to get coffee..then rolled through Tokyo bumping some old school music, I took some cool photos of the homies passing out...we drove to Fujioka in the Mountains..where there was a Lowrider car show..

8am there was incredible traffic to get in the car show..we parked half way up the mountain..then we had to climb the rest..we finally made it up..we found a spot to kick it..then many cars started to show up, I was able to film some of the arrivals..and snap still photos. I thought I saw some Mexican girls..so I started speaking Spanish to them. but they didnt speak Spanish....

Noonish..we were really drunk..I think having a Sol beer booth with a tan really beautiful Japanese girl had something to do with..jaja..I sobered up in an hour..and continued to walk around and shoot video and stills..I was looking at a bioagraphy of someone named Mr.Kei..he had alot of Tattoos etc..and then I turned around..and I see Mr.Yamazaki! (the man who brought the first Lowrider with Hydrallics to Japan) I met him about a year ago..and I did an interview with him..however Shiho was my translator..and we had a falling out not worth mentioning) but since that I needed a another interview for legal reasons. I gave a bottle of Don Julio Anejo to Yamazaki.

about 130 or so..there was a Tug of War between Stylistics and two other car clubs..Stylistics won both matches no problem! I was sitting down relaxing and Mr.Kei came up to me..he said "You are Luke right?". I said yes..he said he heard i wanted to talk to him..craziness..no? Anywayz..I found out his story..he spent 13years in US prisons..because he was affiliated with Yakuza..he was held for no reason by the FBI..and had been back in Japan 4years..he started a clothing and tattoo shop Chicano Style..he speaks very good english..very intresting guy. He offered his help for anything while Iam in Japan. He knew alot of the same people in Japan as me, and also some in the United States, small world no? He has a very strong tie to Chicanos in the US. I told him I wanted to interview Yamazaki again. So we went to talk to Yamazaki, and he agreed. So I have an interview with him on Tuesday at Mr.Kei's shop. Mr.Kei and I talked for a while..and I found out the girl I thought was Mexican..is Romanian..and also his wife!~ jaja..its funny because I told him later that I speak Romanian too.and that I lived there before.

200pm..the car hopping contest started..Stylistics won against a couple of cars..the Cutlas and the 68 impala both represented...then it started to rain..jajaa.."Japanese Lowrider Disaster"...everyone ran and screamed for cover..the rain poured for about two hours..and traffic was unbelievable..it was funny seeing people though..we had a good time really when it came down to it..and the cars that i saw were amazing. one thing that really cracked me up, was that there was some Peruvians trying to be Chicano yesterday..rapping in Spanish..I started laughing..we just have love world wide I guess.!~

430pm I passed out..but we stopped in Ishikawa and bought food..sat down and ate..nothing like hot soup when it rains!

630pm..we made it back to the Garage..and went to the 7-11 then to the Apartment....after eating..and watching some tv..we called it an early night once around 9pm.

Monday 12th

I woke up around 730..Mune picked me up at 8am..Iam walked around after getting to the garage..and grab breakfast...now Iam back here at the garage its around 11am here..my goal today is to do some editing..and map out more of my film..also to practice my Japanese in the mean time...my one crisis is that the power adapters are different for the computer..so I need to figure this out soon..or iam in deep shit mang! Iam head to Chiba Station to activated my railpass so I can bounce manana to Yokohama. on a side note..I am supposed to meet up with Nortec Collective in Nagoya..and then head to Tokyo on the 17th for a show at club studio!~ I hope I hear from them soon...other then this..things are going great!~

Its good to be back, in the Estados Unidos. My head is still spinning from everything that happened in Japan this time. Since I have been back, it has been a bunch of re-unions, and doing 110mph on the freeway, drifting around corners and greens. Music is coming along pretty good, I have decided to do some live shows in Phx,(a rare thing) in the next couple of months. To my loved ones, Iam sending good vibes your way!~

Ok, so my Japan trip is winding down, but I am looking foward to go back to the US. I have many things to take care of when I return, a fundraiser event, a party for Orlie and some sleep and relaxation. I have so much editing to get done for this film I am making..I am not really sure about the sleep part. Anyways, this trip was really amazing..with many ups and downs, so many worries and I cannot even begin to explain the anxiety I experienced the last few days with making sure I keep things good. But all is well that ends well, no? This time..I spread my wings..so I could fly..and let the wind carry me and take me to my destination. Mucho Amor to everyone here in Japan that has helped me, God, Mother, Keiko Hatashita, Tamaki Hosakawa, Keiko Sato, Shigeki Toyoda, Masaya the Deportista!, Shiho Tokuda, Yamazaki San, Shimodaira San, Yamoaka San, Crues Hydrallics, Mizukoshi San of Playa Lateral 045 for letting us film in your location!; and the countless other people that guided me when I was lost in the train station..I am not sure who ya'll are..but God bless you!

Sup? I have been in Tokyo for about a week. Made some tracks, and some contacts. I went to Takasaki and Kaori showed me some temples, and some cool places. Its 830 am in Ikebukuro. Probably going to hit up Masaya and Jazzy Sport today in Shibuya. Things have been crazy nice though, Japanese people are a really great society and culture.

Peace in da Middle East!
